Reaching out from home

Yesterday more than 300 members logged onto Local 1000's live blog from the Capitol Rally. Members who could not make it to the rally sent messages to their fellow co-workers cheering them on, giving them words of support, and speaking out about the current budget deficit.

Members were able to view up to the minute photos and posts from the rally as it was happening, these same members also took action by filling out online advocacy e-mail's to both the governor and the legislator.
